I believe this has been discussed before hand. Dividing up the Buying/Selling thread into different categories. Like so :
-Vehicle for Sale -Parts for Sale -Vehicle Part Out -Want to Buy that way everythings not so cluttered. One day you post an item for sale and within the next few hours it gets pushed over to the 2nd page and you have to continously bump it. Celica tech has it divided up like that and there is much more activity on 6gc than celicatech or newcelica.org. -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

Other sites do similar things, I could see it if we were scrolling 5 pages a day, but it is not like we get that much traffic.
Another bad point to that is no one even looks at WTB if this happens. On the canon forum I see people selling the item 2 or 3 people wtb and those people never get contacted. Who wants to search before they post a FS ad. I personally think it is fine as is, some places don't let you even bump an ad. IMO too many subforums make searching more difficult, it speads stuff out to much, and makes it feel less homie. It would be like making regional subforums for meets, like we can't keep track of the 20 meets a year we have. lol Besides buying and selling is the only subforum you can see 2 or 3 people at the bottom of the page anymore. Edit: I normally bump when I hit the next page which is usually about 4 or 5 days not a few hours. I know it seems bad, I want my stuff to sell as fast as anyone. The canon forum it is a matter of an hour to the next page and there is no bumping at all same with an archery forum I am on. If people would just buy more stuff it wouldn't be a problem. lol

What if it was split into two, one for FS/WTB cars and one for FS/WTB parts?

Why not where you can delete your own thread, ive been on a honda prelude site and i would post wtb, and then detele it after i bought it, or wts, same thing. because people are "testing the waters" crap or seeing if anyones interested and then when someone is interested they decide not to sell.

definetly think there should be a split of cars/parts fs/wtb. Its hecktic trying to find vehicles when you have 1 to every 30 post on parts.

What if it was split into two, one for FS/WTB cars and one for FS/WTB parts? I agree with this one, even newcelica.org does it like this. Since we do not have much traffic a WTB/FS sections would be fine. Not all the categories -------------------- 94 Celica GT
