Well i say we spend a day at the strip. Starts at 1030. There will be fun runs, quick 8s, drifting, show, glow, and apparently a concert. Think we should rep Toyota sense last time i had the only toyo in the whole place.

Im taking the smart way and letting alex and ben lead the way with this build and they've been pretty busy lately so i've been takin the down time to paint and clean the little things. Also made the decision to paint the front end pieces myself instead of having maaco do it. Other than that just day dreaming of the day this thing starts up. Still have to get guages, downpipe, axles and 3'' exhaust. Question: can i use a 3'' exhaust but keep my 2.5'' magna flow muffler?

99 camry e153 came in!

soon to be paint booth, and paint gun

and more cleaned parts

bought a few things to make sure the paint comes a long nicely smile.gif
got this little puppy for a steal at home depot. Pretty sure they priced it wrong. This will definitely help with the painting and power tools.

almost finished with the paint booth

Thanks to Ben mentioning respiratory illnesses i had to do it:

Also purchased a water/contaminant filter for the air hose just to make sure.

Just a little fun after completing Bobby's rotating assembly!

http://youtu.be/wT_FgD2Dej0

And on the more serious side: MOOAAAR PICSSSSZZZZ
Gave it a serious cleaning and blueprinted the rings. The machine shop had decided to be nice and install the rods.....but sadly they installed them backwards, so we had
to take them back apart and re-assemble them correctly.

Also make sure ben brings his bearing and race installer. Need that aswell. Other then that, next time we should have the front and rear mains in, along with the oil pump, upper and lower pans with oil pump pickup, head, and may even get around to getting the timing belt on. Hope you bought a new idler pulley and not just the tentioner.
