Well I don't know if you've ever seen what the pillar in a coupe or hatch looks like, but it goes all the way above the door and is pretty long. The one that is being made is only going to be about the length to hold the 3 gauges, so I would imagine that you could get it to work in the same way that everyone else will. Your stock parts will just have to be cut for this to fit in, that was my understanding of the product at least.

the mock-up/prototype pillar pod was tested on my car and i have a vert. It fit almost perfect. We will have to do less modifying to get it to fit in our car than the coupes/hb have to.
