Anybody have a working one? I know knock sensors don't go bad that easily (unless you throw them off some roofs ), so does anyone have one that they'd like to sell me? Cheapest I've found was $54 for an OEM Toyota one off of eBay. I just spent a lot of money rebuilding my motor, so I'm trying to avoid spending too much.
The deal with mine is that the plastic piece that connects to the harness broke off, so sometimes it jiggles and throws the CEL. I'm the the sensor itself is fine, but I'd rather have an intact connector. -------------------- taking too long to mod since '09

Have you tried the salvage yards in Kennedale, there are a couple 7afe celicas out there. I got the knock sensor for my 5SFE plus a handful of other sensors for $25 at Apache Foreign on Mansfield Hwy and Eden Rd.
Just tell them its a coolant sensor and youll give them $5 for it Oh and I got the pigtail with mine. This post has been edited by Special_Edy: Aug 13, 2012 - 10:37 AM |
