Just wondering if the JDM 3 point front strut bar will fit a USDM GT with a 5S or if the engine will get in the way of the cross bar?

Beware of the JDM GT4 bar, the cross bar is a bit high and might clash with the bottom of the hood, if you have a GT4 hood that would be fine for sure.

It will clash with the hood.
Had an A'pexi 3 point for the st205, and my hood was very very close.
I never actually tried closing the hood completely as I was worried to bend the hood, thats how close the fitment was.
So you may need to modify your hood a bit, (spacers might make it fit) to make it fit right.

You mean the TRD strut bar?

Or a different one? Here's evidence that the taller ones fit with a stock hood.

TRD= JDM
But seems TRD never ever made a 3-point bar for GT4

Thanks guys. Didn't want to waste my money if it wouldn't fit. I have the stock hood right now on my 99 GT but for some reason no factory strut bar. Didn't ALL GT's come with it? I've had the car for a few months now but JUST noticed it wasn't there. I might as well get a JDM 3 point if it will fit. I'm getting the SEIBON carbon GT4 hood soon (and painting it to match. I like the GT bumper more than the GT4 and the SEIBON hood gives you the GT4 hood look without the gap in the front with a GT bumper) so it should fit under that as well then. Thanks again!

I think it was '97 that Toyota stopped putting the strut bars in Celicas, aiming for more ride comfort over handling.

Whoa wait a minute.
My bad, mine was not a 3 point, mine was a two point A'pexi bar, but it had a large hump in the middle to clear the top mount on the 3s.

I've called every junkyard within 200 miles of me. Only 1 of every 10 even HAVE a 6gc. No one has the bar. 6gc are EXTREMELY rare in NY State. Especially if you don't live in one of the larger cities and only about 10% of the state is city, most of it is suburbs and farm land.
