I was looking for some KYB GR-2 struts on Ebay and i've found that (KYB GR-2 Gas Shocks Absorbers)...

The RR's should be direct replacements. Meaning already assembled strut housings. The FRT's are inserts/cartridges, meaning you'll have to drain housing, uncrew the shock housing, take out old insert and drop new ones it.

SO to answer your question, yes those are shocks (for front)/struts (for thr RR's).

they are hardly more expensive off of www.tirerack.com so i recomend buying them there. they are new which is worth about $20 more to me.
