So... I have a 96 ST. I want to get a nicer sound from the exhaust (not ricey)... and think I want to get this Magnaflow:
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...in&id=10446 My question, which might be basic but I don't know the answer... is can I just swap this to the stock set up without getting a check engine light? I can't afford a catback (if I could even find one) and it seems expensive to swap out all of the piping to 2.25 too. Thoughts? Any feedback is appreciated. |

Yes you can swap the muffler with no adverse effect on performance or emissions. The CEL wont come on. Also, the muffler shop can install an adapter to make it 2 1/4 no problem
