lol I can go buy a $400 POS geo metro and have "fun". I just personally think the car is overrated, but that is just my personal ignorant opinion. With all this bashing, have you actually driven one? Honestly, I will hold back my opinion until I actually drive one. I value handling over HP anyways... that's why I have a 5S-FE Celica that will stay 5S-FE and have sunk all of my money into suspension parts lol. Edit: NVM, it's not even worth arguing. **** handling and braking, going as fast as possible in a straight line is what really matters.

I think I stated that I have not driven one in real life yet about 3 times. I do not count forza(Although the thing SCREAMS that it needs more torque in the game). Also this 330hp car is still making **** for torque(However it is better lower) and from personal experience driving a 120hp car with 120lbs(Celica) feels A LOT faster than a honda with 120hp and 90lbs. Low down torque is VERY noticeable in corners. If I find someone with one, or if a dealership gets one in I will be sure to test drive one just to confirm my ideas.. If not, I trust the people that I have spoken with about them, and I know what they look like on paper.
Turbo graph: I am not trying to bash this car, it is a great addition to the Toyota family, but this whole "Its the best production car out right now for the price and a must have" is just bull****, regardless if it is "fun to drive". 150lbs is just inexcusable. Yes when coming from a celica or similar it is going to feel AWESOME, you know why? 200hp and rwd. I am hoping this car is just the start of the Toyobaru sports cars and that they add boost, quality and longer lines into the FRS equation to make a real $25k car. The closest car to the FR-S/BRZ in somewhat recent times that I can think of is the 240SX. Made 155 hp @ 5600 rpm and 160 ft-lbs. @ 4400 rpm for the 1998 year. Also weighed in at 2,800 pounds, got 22/28 on premium, and cost $18,359 MSRP for the base model in 1998. Which in today's money equates to $25,804. I have a feeling the same people that like(d) the 240SX will also like the FR-S, they seem to fall into the same niche. From what I've seen of the FR-S it looks promising. I remember at one point reading that the FR-S could use any of the current Boxer engines. Provided the FR-S sells well, there might be one from the factory with the STI engine in it. One can hope anyway.
