Expensive... I can get them cheaper... If they were for all 4, I would jump on it... This post has been edited by kuya1284: Jan 16, 2004 - 12:32 PM |

That guy is ridiculous...they come with H3 bulbs? Too bad the headlights use H1 bulbs. And "They currently are not available from any other source but right here."...I don't think so. Plus I've got reason to suspect that that guy is performing some fraudulent business practices...but I won't talk more about that until I can find out for sure.

There's really is no big deal. However, in my case, I think it's a big deal, because of the type of project that I'm working on... |

yeah Ray. that's roughly the cost that toyotaworld.com has them for. the lowbeams came w/ H1 bulbs, and the highs did not come w/ bulbs, BUT they use the stock 9005 high beam bulbs. harnesses are easy to come by. few bucks at honda. no biggie. and yeah, that guy is fulla more crap than a christmas turkey. me and coomer were talkin about that last night. . -John- -------------------- |

no offense to mike, but you guys do know that he just buys stuff, marks up the price and resells it, right?
so you can just buy the 4 lamps from toyotaworld for about 740$ and spend 20$ for bulbs and harness on ebay. i would love to have those lamps, but i cant justify spending that much on something that i dont really need. id rather put that type of money to the 3sgte fund. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

i had to get mine. didn't HAVE to get the JDMs, but all 3 brackets on both of my low beams were busted...and sooooo, i figured..if im gonna go, i'm gonna go all out. . doesn't seem like a bad deal when you figure you are getting these headlights for the exact same as the original headlights would be from the dealer. and hell, they are about 100x more bad ass. .

it's also funny, cause the same guy sells a "booklet" about the 6th gen celica..and advertises that in it, you can learn ways to get the JDM headlights for hella cheap, bla bla bla. heh. then sells em on ebay for 700 for the low beam pair. what a goob.

It's called RUNNING A BUSINESS. I did the same thing when I used to sell kits. Why? Because I was running a business. |

Agreed, 800 for everything i think is a decent price, and instead of sourcing it all out u have it. Plus the bulbs alone probably be more than $20.
