sorry for the ignorance, but im kinda new to this.
Does anyone know if there is a simple bolt on turbo available for the 7afe? if so what kind of power hikes can be got from it? will i need to upgrade the stock clutch? I am trying to hit a power figure of about 150 bhp. is there an easier way of getting this?
I would really appreciate any comment back on this.

there are... but you don't want one.

If you piece the parts together with e-bay and other places, you will save probablya grand or so.

I don't think there is any simple bolt on Turbo for any NA car. Most bolt ons would be fore already turboed cars and even those are probably not simple.

The 7AFE needs a new a turbo manifold for a turbo and you need a bunch of other stuff....which will not make it SIMPLE at all.

But I saw a kit on ebay once which was just someone who gathered parts for the turbo.

Cheers for the reply guys, is there an easier way to get 150 hp out of it? i really love the car but feel it is a little under powered.

well yes there is one for the 7afe engine but it's made for a corolla so you would have to customize i few things...

and 150bhp not the hard to get..

yeah, he was a member of this forum and celica.net

thats pretty much the only way to get a full kit for a 7afe, to buy one from a guy that put it together himself.
