Hey guys, looking to see how low I have my car now, so looking for some figures and thought might as well make a non-official thread.

Post a pic of your car and include how much of a drop you have, and include some measurements.

Eg:

Drop: Not Sure
Suspension: BC Coilovers

Ground to:
Front Wheel arch: 615mm
Rear Wheel arch: 612mm
Bottom of Front bumper: 190mm
Top of Boot/Trunk: 940mm
Size of wheels: 18x +30/18x9 +25
Tyres: 215/40/18
Problems: Tyre Slicing when turning.

Etc,
Just to give people ideas of how low, is low.
I'm looking of a bone stock height atm.

Kgo.

seems an odd way to measure it.

Here in New Zealand when we are certified for adj. suspension they take it from the top of the wheel arch to the centre of the hub, that way the measurement is not affected by the rim/tire size.

I'll measure later.

All I know is that I rub in the rear, slice in the front, and can't even fit more than the tip of my shoe under my skirts or splitters tongue.gif. And I am 5'9" and my car only comes up to my belly button, haha. Sitting on the ground ftw!

alright timmyface I took some time to get some measurements.

Suspension: megan racing

Ground to:
Front Wheel arch: 590mm
Rear Wheel arch: 580mm
Bottom of Front bumper: 140mm
bottom of rear bumper: 200mm (i have a custom lip)
bottom of side skirts: 55mm
Size of wheels: 18x8.5 front et33 rear et23
tires: 215/35/18

So your tires are Slicing when you turn? i had the same problem i had to roll my front fenders too. the little lip on the fenders that holds the guard plastic is what cuts your tires. you need to bend those because they are like blades!

Yeah I do need to do that front lip, they aren't slicing as much now, I think I raised it a little. But it's more so when I turn into every driveway I go in that it scrapes/slices. The actual fender is rubbing on the tyre.

So your about 2/3cm lower than me. Challenge accepted! Haha.

haha the differences should be that my coils are set up a little lower and i have 35 profile tires. in diameter 35s tires are about 20mm smaller than 40s.

I have about a finger gap in the front, and could maybe squeeze my hand till My knuckles in the rear of clearance.
But when my tyres wear, I'm going more stretch up front to go wider, and a 35 all round smile.gif

I can't drop my rear much more or it will scratch my rim frown.gif

I need some better strut braces and sway bars to stop the front body roll I guess. Haha
