If I'm not wrong I heard that the 3sge exhaust pipe fits our 5sfe engines with a bit of modifications. If so will this one fit?

I don't believe this would fit either way because of the generational differences, but I can't say that 100% as I've never tried swapping an exhaust from a 5th gen. With the difference in length of the vehicles and probability that the pipe routing is different I would be willing to say 99.9% "NO". Plus, with the price it would cost to ship that from the UK, your much better off getting a custom one made. I know I just received a quote for around $200 for that same piece made custom out of stainless by just a local Midas yesterday ( I would supply, manifold, cat and muffler) This post has been edited by Xander_X: Aug 22, 2012 - 1:26 PM -------------------- 99 Celica GT-S

that i cannot say for sure as long as that pipe meets up to the muffler and then meets up exactly at the end of the header. you need to look at one in person. we know that the headers would git a 5sfe but you have to worry about how to hook back up the o2 sensor (bcus of location) and the 3sge header is a 2 piece so Im not sure if it ends exactly at where the 5s downpipe ends. even so not sure why you would need it unless you dont want custom work.

Dang. That's a bummer. The only thing I really hate. We are REALLY LIMITED to aftermarket parts. Thanks everyone.

i just got ebay header since that really our only true option, got my stock flanges welded onto 2.25 pipes and bends follow OEM route, then got the catback.

Was it all custom made? I think I'm just going to have to go into my local exhaust shop and ask if they can make me a custom exhaust piping and muffler. -_-' -------------------- |

Yes these days, your only option is to weld an exhaust together, for the catback get a branded resonator like magnaflow or vibrant, then your muffler should be either a tanabe or apexi ws2 something like that, or get the muffler from another car's greddy sp2 and have that welded on. -------------------- 94 Celica GT

The only problem with have 2 cat is that I live in California. Lol. I'm pretty sure I need all 3 cat to pass my smog tests. I'm guessing I'll be spending close to 2-4 hundred on a custom exhaust? -------------------- |

what do you mean 3? Cali has one on the exhaust manifold (which i think you arent getting a header no more in order to keep it on), the downpipe either has the 2nd cat or the exhaust pipe has the cat or its in between the two pipes (never seen a cali version), but i think the resonator is the one you are calling a 3rd cat maybe?
you are pretty much looking at those prices depending on what muffler you get or resonator and labor, could even be more. This post has been edited by trdproven: Aug 28, 2012 - 10:13 PM -------------------- 94 Celica GT
