Like most people who have owned and then sold a 6th gen celica I miss my car and want another! I'll be ready to buy in about a month or two after I clear some space by selling my parts miata and my wrx. I'm trying to hold out for the exact car that I want though, I'm looking for any 94-99 though I prefer 96+ and would really really prefer a 98-99, must be a GT, must be a liftback, must be a manual, must have a black interior in good shape (a couple blemishes on easily replaceable panels is ok), body can have normal dings and scratches but no large dents, must be a clean title, must be a CA emissions car for smog reasons (hard to pass a federal emissions car in CA), strongly prefer it to be seafoam green like the one I used to have but I'm open to all colors.
I know the chances are slim I'll find the car I want on here, but I've been searching craigslist for weeks and the only ones up there are all convertibles and one coupe, of the 2 liftbacks one is an automatic and the other is beat to crap... If I can't find a 6th gen by the time I'm ready to buy I'm interested in 5th gen GTS celicas too. Oh, and Hi to everyone that remembers my 5sfte celica I had from 2007-2010 This post has been edited by 6strngs: Sep 3, 2012 - 5:28 PM -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

If I had one I'd trade it for your LeMans. Best of luck finding one!

That torquoise pearl is only available on 94's and maybe 95's There's a 96 for sale near me in that color, could have been repainted though QUOTE If I had one I'd trade it for your LeMans. Best of luck finding one I actually just sold the Lemans about 2 months ago unfortunately, I guess I need to update the signature... I'm currently rocking an 04 wrx, a 91 miata, and a 93 miata parts car. I'm trying to sell the parts car, sell the wrx for ~$10-11k, then pick up either a celica or integra for ~$3-5k to be a daily driver and have the extra cash to put towards a down payment on a house. I would daily the miata but I can't even fit 1 guitar in the trunk... I remember sticking 2 guitars + an amp and 2 people in my celica which is why I want another liftback QUOTE i remember you, i think i bought some stuff from you.. welcome back, Very possible... I sold a lot of stuff on this site, haha. Well there's at least one username I recognize This post has been edited by 6strngs: Sep 3, 2012 - 8:06 PM -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

That's a shame. Should've kept the LeMans, could've fit a small country in it. Definitely go Celica over the Integra. Multi-link rear suspension for the win!

For sale in Pleasanton CA
95 Celica GT Lift back Manual Transmission Super Clean body (Garaged most of the 12 years I’ve owned it) Interior is really clean although there are some age related issues with some of the leather (see pictures) Color: White (with thin black pin striping running down each side) I posted a bunch of pictures in my profile. -Check 'em out! 175k on the odometer although in 2007 I replaced the original 2200 engine with a low miles 2200 that I purchased at Attarco in Richmond, CA. The car runs like a total champ. Zero issues. The only reason for selling is that we got a new car and don’t have room for it anymore. A few other points: It passed smog inspection in 2011 (I didn’t need to get it smogged this year when I renewed the registration this month Sept 2012) Recent oil change Brand new 100,000k Battery New Oil filter I love this car. To be honest, I have been dragging my feet for months on putting it up for sale. But then I saw your post and because you and I are virtually neighbors, I thought now might be the time. If you have any questions or are interested in having a look, let me know. All the best, Scott This post has been edited by scottcall: Sep 15, 2012 - 8:19 PM |

That's the best year for the NA6, all the goodness of the smaller engine but without the SNC! Odd that there are lots of people who go from a Celica to another car, then back to another Celica. Learn from these experiences people, just keep the effing thing! Good luck finding a replacement.
