biggrin.gif I'm busy installing a power antenna in my 1998 ST. In Holland the ST didn't have a power antenna from the factory that's why i want to install it.

Yesterday i have been busy with installing it. The installing itself wasn't a problem at all, but the antenna doesn't go up or down.

I tried to connect the red/black red/blue wire together. I've read that as a solution on a german celica forum, but it still won't work. Only thing i here is 'click, click' from the relay in the trunk when i power the car off.

Does anyone know how to connect this properly?

I have a Alpine CDE-130BT headunit btw.

Thanks!

Solved!

I've been looking at all celica forums over and over again and at least i did find the solution on the german forum!

My Alpine head unit has a blue wire that activates the power antenna. Normally when you'd connect the headunit with an iso connector to the original Toyota harness, you'd only connect with the red/black cable. To make the power antenna function, you have to split the blue wire and connect it to both the red/black and the rose/blue wire. This means you have to add a pin in the iso connector right beside the pin that connect the red/black wire.

Now the power antenna goes up when is turning on!
