Mounting progressive springs? Options

I just got my new H&R progressive springs, 29964-1, and i'm quite confused on how they should be mounted. There is nothing in the manual about the position of the springs. I think the tighter coils goes up, in which case manufacturer logo is upside down.

I looked at various forums and many people talked to H&R reps... Some of them were told that tight coils goes up, other that tight coils goes down...

Any suggestions?

Also, when the writing is upside down and the tighter coils are at the top, the springs stands 90 degrees to the floor. If the writings are "readable" and tight coils are down, both front and rear springs are leaning like the Tower of Pisa...

They should be leaning, because due to suspension geometry, your struts don't sit completely vertical, they are infact angled.
on the bottom pic, you should have the tighter coils on the bottom. (left spring is right side up, left spring is upside down)
As for the top pic its sort of hard to tell from thepics.

When I got my Tien S techs, the larger diameter springs and wider coils at the bottom, so the spring sort of looked like this / \ , just not as drastic. The wider part went on the bottom (I hope that makes sense)
