7afe turbo kit

Includes:

T3 turbo (under warranty)
Custom down pipe
Jgs tools manifold
Dr Catback exhaust piped out the back with dual tips
Turboxs MBC
Short ram intake and filter
Vortech 12:1 FMU with fuel lines
Walbro 255lph supra fuel pump
Hose for catch can installation (had a water bottle as a catch can)
Jgs tools oil feed line kit
Custom oil return line
Pre tapped and fitted oil pan
Greddy universal IC piping kit
FMIC
BOV
Air lines
Check valves for the MAP
SAFC2
Dual gauge pod
AFR gauge
Boost Gauge
Blitz dual turbo timer (bought it damaged, works as far as I know)
roll of paper gasket for downpipe to B pipe gasket

total cost to me-$3500(and countless ours of working out the kinks in the setup)

its a full kit, get a new exhaust manifold gasket(they are one time use) and you can probably install it in 1-2 days if you know what you are doing and have a good set of tools.

melting one of my pistons didnt go over too well with my parents, so my dad is(for now) asking me not to put the turbo stuff back on. BTW, the cause of the piston was it was weakened when the stock fuel pump failed, this kit includes a brand new walbro 255lph pump

i will be going to college after this summer and he wants me to have a 100% reliable car to drive everyday(for summer job and college if i live at home) he said that it would be ok to sell the mazda i got from my grandpa and buy what ever other car i want to "**** around with" all i want.

the idea of a project car of my choice is very appealing

but before i do start making any plans i'd like to see how much demand there is for a FULL 7afte kit, it even includes a cat back exhaust

email me at yoohanna@pacbell.net or PM me here with any questions

An authentic JDM S13 is 180SX I believe...but close enough.

no, the usdm 89-93 240sx hatchback is the same body as a 180sx

the s13 silvia is the same body as the 89-93 240sx coupe but with a different front end.

problem with the 1st gen 240's is that it is hard to find them in good condition and the price has been skyrocketing lately.

there is a 90 for sale around here with over 150k miles and only has a coat of primer and the guy wants $3500

there is also a 1997 240sx in mint condition but its an auto. guy wants only $6900 and it has 56k miles.

i'm sort of leaning towards an mr2 turbo with t tops.

you will pay more for the MR2 stock than you would for a SR-20 swapped S-13 in good condition...

that may be true, depending on how banged up the car is,

240's are getting really popular around here, but, i do live in CA, so i may run into problems with smog checks.

im still not sure what i want tho, gotta do some more reading and autotrader shopping, lol

a turbo 2 would be nice, but again, not the most common car around here.

i figure that in about 2 months when i am ready to buy the project car, i will know what i want for sure.

To think about it... the turbo 2 actually is less common than alltracs and such... heh

Just give it time. I originally wanted an AE86, but now, I'm looking at building an all-motor track engine for my celica, but practicality-wise, I'm also considering just dumping my funds as a down payment on a new Celica GTS/RSX-S/ or even Civic SI hatch... choices choices choices...

I'm going to buy a miata to drive while I work on the celi. Then I'm going to build the miata. I found one that needs a tranny for $1500. I think I can find a tranny for around $500. Its a 1.8 so there are turbo kits everywhere. With a little attention to detail I should have it down to 2300lbs with driver....about 180hp with the turbo...sounds like fun to me. All for under 7k.

i dont like vert's

some kids from my school were in a 5.0 vert being stupid. they wrecked, and the car was almost ripped in half.

all three were pretty messed up
