well, its been a while since ive been on here and there has been a reason for that. the last thing i did to my car was the body work. Cops have been REALLY and i mean REALLY anal about things lately. ive been getting tickets up the ass for bull crap. Speeding 5mph over the limit, driving with my high beams, having a neon license plate frame that didnt even work, not using my turn signal COMPLETELY through a lane change, and crap like that. i think my car draws more attention now. but i dont know. so thats where my money has been going for the past few months. (can u believe i never got one warning, i think its just bad luck)

well things are kinda turning around. im a senior in high school, and now got a 150000 dollar scholarship to got to the school of my choice. and on my first day of freshman year my parents told me that what ever scholarship money i got, they would give it to me cash since thats money they WOULD be spending on me anyways. So im looking into buying an suv or some big truck for long trips and such. ive kinda lost interest in going fast and all. im more relaxed now, and need more space in a car. So im looking into buying a 4x4 ford f-150 or a toyota sequoia or something. then im gonna try to sell my car for about 7000 dollars and put that money into my new cars stereo and all. well its been a long road, and i as just about to buy my 4age 20v black top w/ 6sp tranny too, had the money and all. well, looking like im gonna be hanging up the hat.

almost 2 years later, this is what i had

17in acuza road concepts wheels
sony x-plod head unit (one that flips down and a cd tray comes out)
4 200w speakers, 800w amp
reverse indiglo's w/ blue needles
and custom fiberglass interior same color as outside paint.
ill have some pics up soon.

i plan to pick up the project again, when i have enough money probably after i get my degree and start my carreer as an architect. i love the celica too much. someday, just i dont have the bank for what i want right

I've never been pulled over since i bought the celica. But now i have and i almost got sent to jail........for spinning my tires out of a green arrow. Got pushed up against the cop car, patted down and almost cuffed. I swear....if i still had my truck that would have never happened. They'd have been like "Cool truck, you go offroad? Have a nice night!"

Yea, I got away with speeding, spinning out, pretty much anything in my silverado.......btw...don't get a f-150 >=O!!!

get a duramax diesel silverado, those things are badass.

But I understand your choice, sometimes I think about my truck and getting one again, but maybe later in life.

well sorry to hear that... some cops in some areas just have nothing better to do... I love my town 2 largest city in new jeresy and i been stoped buy the cops out here 2 once for doing 69 in a 25 yea that was my bad... the seconde time i was cause i didn't put my turn signal on will coming out of Checkers... but after they stoped my found out my light just went out so they just told my to change it as soon as i get home and let me go.... not that same in the samll towns around here...

and how about getting something like a matrix alot better gas mileage..

Cops around where I live are too busy doing their jobs to pull people over for small things. I guess I would know considering auto theft went down 42% where I live after 3 of my friends got busted for auto theft... idiots.

well, the cops issue is one thing, the other is i want more space. the one thing i hated about my celica, is that if i had 2 other passengers, it was cramped. yeah i guess thats a sacrifice when u want a little fast car, but, like i said, ive just kinda grown out of the whole going fast in a slow car thing, so im just growing out of it i guess. just when i have the money to make it worth while, ill pick it up again, but its just not for me now

We have a joke regarding my celica, and thats that real people can't fit in the back seat. Luckily, I don't drive real people that often. Small asian girls fit good in the back, but anyone white needs to sit up front. Causes interesting carpool situations.

Maybe you're just unlucky... I personally have a heavy foot, and drive a pull-me-over-red car, lowered with rims, no front plate and a leaky exhaust buzzin around... not to mention, I frequently slide corners, and have a hard time keeping the damn thing under 80 on the freeways. I've had only one ticket to date... doing 74mpg in a 45 zone coming from a freeway to a city... and I wasn't even driving my Celica at the time... i was driving a dark champagne colored 2000 Camry...

I better be careful now... since my liscense expired on the 9th, of last month...=D
