Plus their cheap, good gas mileage, reliable, and there might not be a huge aftermarket supply, but what you can't find you can always make.

My cousins 7th gen was the reason I bought my 6th gen.
A celica is a celica,
6th gens leak oil, namely from the valve cover
7th gens burn oil....

6th are easier to work on...
7th have more modern style

When motor swapped 6th > 7th
Beams can be done for less than 2k + what you have in the car and that makes you equal to the 1zz/2zz in motor tech.
