Hi,

Just wanted to know the flow rate of the stock fuel pump for a 3rd gen 3S-GE.

My one got busted and was replaced with a Warlbro fuel pump which I think has a flow rate for 255 lph. I know this is more than what my engine needs and now my fuel economy is affected. I don't have the budget right now to replace it but knowing the difference in flow rate will help me understand better.

Thanks,

ecu should adapt as long as o2 sensor and fuel reg are in order

changing to walbro affected my low rpm performance alot and chewed threw gas making no power, now i have power fc ecu i can see that my o2 sensor is stuck at 0.2v which is a constant lean situation which caused my standard ecu to add more fuel

so if you do have any low rpm issues, this could be it

by the way. the fuel pump for 7afe, 5sfe and 3sfe engines are all the same!!!

@delusionz: i replaced my o2 sensor less than 2 years ago and the fuel reg has not been changed ever since. i don't have any air-fuel controller installed now so my settings just rely on the ecu. i'm not sure of the resistor pack if it was bypassed. from what i know, my installer changed the socket only to accommodate the warlbro pump.

@BonzaiCelica: the fuel pump that was previously installed is for 4afe/4age, i think. are the 3sfe and 3sge pump just the same too?

thanks guys! smile.gif

All NA 6th gen Celicas use a 90 lph fuel pump.

Thanks for the info! So the Warltro pump I got is so much more than what is needed. That explains my high fuel consumption.
