Just saw a commercial by GE about a new plastic that is gonna be on cars making paint jobs obsolete since it's scratch resistant. That would be hella sweet if it was lighter than Carbon Fiber making it the new aftermarket product that everyone wants to swap on their cars. Even sweeter if you can get it in any color you want or even have designs made into it.

Oh yeah, just wanted to add this...
Not 100% sure, but the car they showed on the commercial looked like the new RX8. But it might have been some kinda ghey pontiac or some other american crap. |

I believe some saturns body panels are made from molded plastics already. That's why they are 'dent proof'. The only problem is that they are still a lot more expensive to manufacture. Also, I saw on the news once, there was a saturn parked beside a house fire, and all the body parts were melted due to the extreme heat...LOL.
