OK what is code 78 ? I have a CALDINA 3S-GTE ST-215 in my 94 Celica...
Im getting code 78 which online states: Code 78 Fuel pump control signal fault Can you help with what to do also do any of you know of any fuel resister pack? Also I used the the fuel relay that's original to the car 5sfe... was I suppose to use one from the caldina with some type of resistor to it ??? does this mean the fuel pump is not getting any power? yeah theres a resistor pack for the fuel pump too, so if you have a small 2 wire grey plug hangin loose either by your fuse box or by your radiator, chances are this is it. theres one for the injectors and one for the fuel pump

does this mean the fuel pump is not getting any power? yeah theres a resistor pack for the fuel pump too, so if you have a small 2 wire grey plug hangin loose either by your fuse box or by your radiator, chances are this is it. theres one for the injectors and one for the fuel pump naa keep in mind my car was a 5sfe engine no resistor came with that car .... what was i suppose to do -------------------- Always fast and going for the look......

Find out how many ohms the resistor needs to be. Or find the voltage the fuel pump operates at and use ohms law to calculate the required resistance to drop 13 volts to the correct voltage.
