Yep,
I installed some blue neon inside my car at my friend's house, then a couple friends and I left to get some food, and a quarter mile or so out of my friend's house I got pulled over and got a $171 ticket for it. frown.gif

Apparently it's really easy to mistake my car for a police car. rolleyes.gif

i love how majority of the ppl that say "yes" about the red car dont even drive a red car, only reason i have been pulled over is for speeding over 20+ both times, no ticket, and once for lights in my old red corolla. The look and appearance of the car is more likely to get you pulled over. Same reason why all theses people rev-up to me after i got my rims. nobody reved before that. just my op.

go take a class in psychology... there is lots of research about how people react to colors... even in sports some teams will get more penalties because of the color of their uni.... strange but true

I have a red car w/ blue neons inside and a craazy loud system. I've only been pulled over once in it. I was doin 70 in a 45 and the cop let me go. I couldnt believe it. I wanted to hug that guy. If i had been him I wouldve given me a ticket. I deserved one. biggrin.gif Other than that cops have seen me goin 10 or 15 over dozens of times and not come after me. Knock on wood. I've been very fortunate so far.

I did get pulled over one other time...I was following my friend and we got pulled over in a DQ parking lot for having our systems up too loud, but the cop had nothing on me b/c I turned mine down as soon as I saw him, but my friend didnt.

Since then I've been sticking to obeying the law as much as possible. I cant aford a ticket.

Red cars are not any different than any other cars except on sunny days, than they seem to draw attention quicker than any other.

But over the years I can say this, the color of your car does'nt draw nearly as much attention as the sound, the louder the exhaust, the more tickets you will get.

I can tell you from first hand experience, that red does attract more attention, period. It doesn't have anything to do with cops, but it has everything to do with how your eye perceives color.

Honestly, if you were to take a look at two cars, one black, and one red, your eyes would need more input from the black car to make out the fine details of it. Cherry red cars are just more noticable. Take a look in my profile for pics of my ****ING RED car and understand that i've been singled out & pulled over about 8 times on the past 6 months, for absolutely nothing.

Oh, red is also good for when the cops let you off with a warning, and they compliment the ride.
