hi guys,
i understand some of you may have seen this and some of you havent,
if you havent, have a good read

what it looked like afew years ago when i first got it... used to be a nice 88Bhp N/A 4E-FE

then i dropped a 4E-FTE from a starlet GT into it and got 146Bhp

after afew modifications

and now

The heart of the car

Interior pic

Had it dyno'd at TDi north afew weeks ago

Exterior & Body:

1995 Subaru impreza Sti bumper

Lip spoiler moulded on the bootlid

Engine & Performance:

3S-GE with S54 Gearbox
OEM strut bar
Custom 2.5" Mandrel Bent Exhaust system
FSE Fuel Pressure Regulator
St-202 Rad

Chassis & Wheels:

Tom's New Actions 15 x 6.5

Avensis Twin Pot Brakes

Interior & Cockpit:

Mitsubishi Evo 1 Recaro Seats
Italv Lanti Red Stitch Steering
Import 2 Compartment Arm Rest
Toyota Floormat
TRD Shift Knob
Corolla G6 Booth Cover Red Stitch
OEM AE101 Cup Holder
OEM Ae101 Flare
OEM Electric Mirrors with Retracting switch
Corolla SI Clocks
Oil temp, Oil pressure, AFR gauges mounted in dash
Corolla GXi Front seats
Razo foot pedals

Ishaq

the 3sge is soo much better compared to the 4efte, i thought about it all wrong lol
i tried to put an engine from a lighter car into my car and expected similar results, that didnt work
so i dropped an engine from a heavier car into mine and its soooo much better

just afew more random pics

afew random pics i took from my phone using a really cool app called camera360

and a panoramic shot

bought a st182 celica convertible, 3sge auto with 4ws

and one of mine

also my new seats, mitsubishi evo 1 recaros

one looks very nice, the other not so much...

passenger

drivers

http://www.youtube.c...eature=youtu.be

finally wired up my fogs again...

also theres a little white light led strip under the clocks

picture of my new fog switch

some new pics from today

next to a ST205

quick photoshop

one of the seats is in now

it is quite comfortable and definetly keeps you in firmly in the seat biggrin.gif

both seats now in, just need a gooooooood clean lol

had the car washed and polished today

Interior pics

heres some i took at a meet

so i went and picked these little beauties today

and some Ultra power 7mm HT Leads

then as me and my cousin were clearing his shed found a heat shield kind of thing for an air filter, so thought id try it and see if it looks ok

and lastly i got new jap/show plates made.

just afew pics from today

got it up on the ramps

rusty parts

driveshafts

Cold Air feed

got a box,

cut it and painted it

feed the pipe through

and joined box to it

best bit is that the box is at the vents under the bumper indicator... in the near future wil get a better box, im thinking an older airfilter box or something

new OEM additions

some new fresh info

guess what

3S-GE Swap into a corolla!!

iv found how to do 3sge with no custom parts

pic of the shaft

manifold is now on

arch work repair

hopefully picking this up tomorow

look at what i picked up

gaps

will require cutting to fit

realised after i bolted the rear brakes up that the metal pipe that runs just before the flexible brake line had coroded and was leaking, so had to make new pipes for both rear brakes....

definetly need new discs lol

car in its new home til the new bumper goes on

start up video just for you guys smile.gif

[flash(425,350)]http://youtube.com/v/ZpHuWW4_Ntk[/flash]

i loved the 20mile drive from mates unit to my brothers unit... loved the sound of the car and the response was just so AWESOME...
cannot wait to have it on the road again and scaring the crap out of all hondas tongue.gif

some more pics of it

fogs and indicators off

the heart of frankenstein

fgk manifold

put the filter right in the corner, need to sort out the wires before making my box, so just got some aluminium and made a temp heatshield

polished/cleaned up my fogs

lip going onto the bumper, screwed in and a little bit of filler in the centre

one more

bumper prep and paint, however it didnt come out 100% frown.gif
so will be re doing it sometime soon

also got this through the post today

and the facelift begins

new bumper with all the lights fitted to it

old vs new

front end stripped

new bumper going on

i liked this grille with this bumper

but i like this much more

and an edited pic

cleaned up the bay abit

my diy cooling panel

welded 2 strut braces together to make my own 3 point brace (needs painting black)

sorted out the cold airbox abit more and sorted the wires tooo

took some photos with richard of toc-irl

which ones better tongue.gif

some new pics

which one is better?

got my intermittent wiper switch on

anyone have any idea on how to wrap this?

picked up a spare box from dazzy, (trans code on celica was S54-06D)...

iv been told that its got an lsd, hopefully it is biggrin.gif

took some pics,

took a little inspiration from scott for this pic, saw one some time ago and thought id try to copy

some more pics

cf wrapped clocks, what do you think?

my 6k hid in the fogs broke (cable got caught in something and it broke) so i decided to buy a 3k hids

also bought an apexi rsm, wired it but could not get speed to work

(this is 3rd gear, ran out of rd)

new rear tow hook, sits just right imo

can anyone explains the revs? tongue.gif

video of the rsm vs stock tacho

heres a quick video of my short shifter

drive in my car today, sorry the rsm does not look like that its just the refresh rate

exhaust note

got my winter wheels on... bye bye tom's (til the summer)

and a petrol station shot (because everyone else has lol)

noticed that both cv boots have split, so need to change them soon...

moved the rsm into the centre console and wrapped it, but not the best..

and afew shots i took today

im liking what you did to the car!!

but 158 kmh in 3rd gear is real hard to believe. 3rd gear only hits up to 148 or so and that would be at redline. of course your tire size has a lot to do with it as well.

thanks mate,
i just going off what the rsm said and the speed shown on there is quite accurate (checked against gps)
tyre size is 195/55/15

and iv hit the limiter in the box in 5th at around 150mph-ish (didn't have rsm when i did that)

Yep s54 non LSD
I've managed to snap the driver side by dumping the clutch at 2500-2600 rpm lol
An I busted my pass side axle mount. Then found out I had sludging problems an the 1st 1mz died
Got a fresh one now an been working on redoing my whole swap

It's not as bad as it sounds. It's an amazing swap I was just bein alil rough on her to work the bugs. Out lol
If you drive it with a brain its actually very streetable.
Driving around town you don't relize the power is even there. But a quick stab of the throttle an age comes to life!
If you do deside to do it you might wanna look into a e153 trans instead.

lol i see what you mean, but im using a mr2 and st182 shafts on mine, dont know if they would fit a e153 box, but never know both mr2 ones may fit...

right car is back on the road after changing quite a number of things

new cambelt
new waterpump
2 cam seals
1 crank seal
new dizzy cap
new rotor arm
new coolant temp sensor
antifreeze

did compression test on it again and it was 10.5 bar across all 4.. need to do a good few services and see if i can get the compression to come back up abit

few more pics i took after i got it back, sooo hard keeping white wheels clean.. :pale:

really need to sort out and clean up engine bay wiring toooo, also maybe getting a custom strut bar made toooo biggrin.gif

sorted out the brake line so that its not rubbing on cambelt cover
