I've heard that removing the resonator box on my 7AFE Celica ST would make the car breath more easily and give a little bit more sound.
Is that true?

And how do I remove that box? Yesterday i removed my stock airbox and i've unbolted the three bolts holding the fusebox. But then I tried to remove the resonator box from underneath the fusebox but it seems like it cannot be done without removing the fuse box. I don't know however how to completely remove the fuse box. Unbolten is one, but removing is two. I'm a little bit worried to damage the cables going into the fusebox.

Hope you can help.

If you want to remove the boxes, remove the driver side fender.
Or remove the wheel liner and try to get it out that way.

What do you mean with wheel liner? And what's easier, removing the fender or the linder?

Isn't it possible to remove the fuse box?

Wheel liner...you know the piece of plastic that's inside the fender well? If you don't..then I suggest you just leave it, its not like its gonna do anything bad. Mines still on there cause I haven't found a reason to take it off.

Ah okay. I'm from Holland so i don't understand all words. But now i know for sure what it is! smile.gif

Is it difficult to remove to liner? How many bolts or screws do i have to unbolt? Because past week i thought i had all bolts and screw out of it but it still didn't want to move a lot.

Thanks again.

I'm from Holland, isn't that weird?

Hallo maat. When I removed the airbox, the top cover and filter came off first. In the bottom of the box are three 14mm (maybe 12) bolts. I also removed the fuse box, it was attached with a few 12mm bolts and a few screws, I think. The plastic pipe inside the fender came out with a bit of force.
