Got some seats from a great buddy! (And forum member!) Thanks for all of the help, guys!
Hey guys! I'm on the lookout for some dirt cheap 94/95 front seats! Got some killer awesome leather covers, but they're made specifically for the original seats our 6th gens came with. However... money is tight, and I'm looking for some that are dirt cheap! I don't need the seat covers to be nice at all. Just need the rails and cushions! Let me know if you guys happen to run across anything. I'm in Western North Carolina now, so I can drive to pick stuff up that might be close by. Thanks so much! Jason **I hadn't really given much thought to shipping costs on seats originally. So it looks like I'll need to find someone I can drive to! I can make to places in NC, SC, and TN pretty easily. Of course, the closer to Hendersonville, NC or Columbia, SC, the better! Thanks guys! This post has been edited by perkyshadow: Dec 24, 2012 - 10:06 PM |

Thanks for letting me know man! Unfortunately, there's no way I can swing $220. I talked to another guy on the forum, and he mentioned how shipping would be crazy expensive. So it looks like I might need to find someone within driving distance! Thanks again!

dude, if you have the brackets and the leather, all you need is the cushions, i shiped them for like 40 bucks or something. most of the weight is the metal of the brackets...

where did you get the leather seat covers? and where can i get a pair thanks! A buddy I met on ebay. Just kept searching over the past few years. Unfortunately, he only "gets what he gets." I got an "old stock" new set. They've been sitting in a warehouse waiting for me! But... He doesn't have another set at the moment, and there's no idea when another one might pop up. Sorry to let you down, bro! dude, if you have the brackets and the leather, all you need is the cushions, i shiped them for like 40 bucks or something. most of the weight is the metal of the brackets... Noberto, just how positive are you about this? If that's the case, it may be okay to ship a set... But I'm worried that I'll end up with set cushions that won't work with the hardware... I don't remember exactly what the hardware was like for the '95 set I worked with last spring.... You've never let me down when you've been 100% sure before, man! |

If it helps you out, I will be having my car shipped to Charlotte in January, if you want the seats I'll give em up for $100 for both after I take some measurements.

Thank you for the willingness to help, man! But I already found what I needed. I should have edited the initial post, but it slipped my mind! For info, here's what I put up on the interiors forum:
