Hey 6gers,

Trying to figure out what's going on with my steering. Have never worked on suspension or steering, so I'm not real sure where to start.

Have a pretty bad creaking sound coming from the steering. Creaks when I turn the wheel at low speeds. She just sounds sold. Any ideas?

Ball joints, tie rods, upper strut mounts, any part that moves when you're turning could be the cause.

When i did my struts shocks and springs, i did not install bump stops and that caused my creaking, which was actually my spring rubbing against itself. Not saying this is the problem, but take note on the advice above as well

Worn out strut mount bearings can do that noise too.

Have someone hold a screwdriver to different parts of the car and up to their ear as you move them. The metal in the screwdriver will amplify the noise as you turn the wheel for them to hear.
