Though it looks like 7A-FE, the intake manifold and heat shield over exhaust manifold are different than mine.
It could be that this engine was swapped from some other Toyota car, that uses the 7A-FE engine in a bit different making, or it could be a hybrid engine, but I'm unaware of engines from A family that could be combined with 7A-FE header... Also... there are some cables running over the engine (at the solenoids) that were supposed to go around the engine - looks to me like some sloppy engine swap This post has been edited by Nihil: Feb 19, 2013 - 3:16 PM -------------------- |

Two Things:
1: im almost positive you cannot use GT4 outers when doing your hybrid axles. Either they dont come apart or they wont fit mr2 inners. So use either 1992 camry v6 outers or a celica alltrac outers. And this is the first i've heard you can use St shifter cables when using the E153 as smaay pointed out. Having an St does mean you will have to spend a little extra cash but it shouldn't be a deal breaker if you really want to do the swap. |
