Hi all

I would like to fit genuine OEM Toyota alloy wheels to our 1997 Celica ST and would like to know what other Toyota models of this era share the same fitting and offset.

Once I know I can then bother my local Toyota dealer for part numbers, prices and schematics from their Toyota EPC parts system.

I'm finding it difficult to find out what wheels came on the GT and GT-4 models as standard?

Any help, pics or suggestions greatly received.

Celicas have a 5x100 lug pattern. Your cheapest and easiest bet would be 7th gen Celica GT-S or Scion tC rims. Check toyodiy.com for part numbers and general prices.

this is the original spec of the gt4 wheels
7½"x16" wheels, 215/50 VR 16 tires

and you also use the wheels from the frs, wrx no STI's jettas wheels might work too. just make sure the hub is bigger than 54.1mm. or even better test them in your car before buying them.

PS: if you are thinking to upgrade to gt4 calipers make sure you get the right wheels/ offset to clear the caliper.

All Toyota 5x100 wheels will fit. (on stock calipers)

Subaru wheels (some) will fit but will require some kind of hubcentric ring to seat properly.

VW 5x100 wheels will fit, the same as above.

EDIT:

Had no time at the moment, but here's a list:

1. Celica 5th(5-lug)
2. Celica 6th
3. Celica 7th
4. Corolla 2003+
5. Corolla XRS, Matrix XRS
6. Scion tC
7. Scion FR-S (they're making a lot of wheels 5x100 for it now)

They are all 5x100, 54.1mm center bore.

Subaru

1. WRX 5x100 are I believe 56.1mm center bore, and nobody makes a 2mm hubcentric spacer because it is just too small. You'd be better off boring the wheels to the next bore size that you can get a ring for.

VW

1. MK4s and VR6 MK3 wheels fit. However they've got the same problem as the Subaru wheels, their center bore is 57.1mm, which is 3mm bigger than Toyota CB. Luckily though, there's 3mm aluminum hubcentric rings, and I believe 3mm is the smallest they come. LINK

There's some Toyota wheels that look good, like Matrix XRS, Scion tC, Celica GT-S 00+, and Corolla XRS 07+

Corolla XRS 08 (Kinda look like Lexus IS300 wheels but in a 5x100 pattern, 17s)

Scion tC RS version (18s)

Matrix XRS 03-07; they're 17s

Newer Matrix XRS 08+; I believe they're 17s

There's some cool VW wheels too, like the Jetta Wolfsburg Edition BBS RX (version2, they're 2-piece)

There's the Version 1s as well which I believe the GTI MK3 VR6 comes with them, they're both 16"

There's the VW Long Beach which are 17"

You could also always get spacer adapters, they're safe as long as they're hubcentric and are torqued down properly, and you have a ****load of options with 5x114.3 wheels (Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, MR2, Camry, new Scion tC, Mazdaspeed, etc.) They go for 60-100 a pair. There's also the conversion of your hubs to 5x114.3 which has been done already, and only requires rear camry wheel bearing and hub assembly, rear camry discs, front rav4 wheel hub and celica bearing and front camry xv10 rotors, everything fits like it should (the discs fit even though they're from the camry)

Is the 2mm difference between the Celica bore (54.1) and a Subaru bore (56.1) that bad? I mean, would I really have to bore it out just so that I can use a hubcentric ring on them? I mean I shouldn't have any problems without using a ring, right?

I'm about to buy some in a week, that's why.

there are no rings for 54.1 to 56.1 though. i can't find a 2mm ring anywhere. the only place I did looked sketchy as hell.

Those wheels look pitiful compared to other BBS types. This is the LM, '04 and '05 GLI.
