Grab as low as you can get. Its still the "off season" so you have some time to search for a low milage (itll be very hard to find one though) and get your car back together for spring time

gonna go with the brand new oem short block. there's nobody i trust more than my dad when it comes to cars & he is sure this is the best way to go about it. my engine will basically be brand new. instead of buying a 5s with no idea of how it was treated for 500-600 i can do it this way for another $200 or so.

850 for a brand new shortblock? if that is what it is, you will need some gaskets and have to transfer everything over from your block

scratch that short block. it's in L.A. & they want close to $250 for shipping. what if we bought a rebuilt long block & build it up? looking to revive my project thread soon, i started tearing down the engine today.

I have a short block with 127k on it and I still have the head and IM for it as well.
Not sure how I would ship it, but I would let it go for cheap since I don't need it.
