Any advice on how to clean a dry air filter? I have the injen dry filter btw. Youtubed it and saw the AEM dry filter clean with their cleaning solution. Also googled it and said you can vacuum it.

Air compressor and blow air from the inside out to knock out dirt. I'd imagine the cleaning solution probably isn't much more than de-greaser mixed with distilled water. tongue.gif

I usually use an air filter degreaser (aem brand or K&Ns is good) soak it. Let it collect the impurities, then dunk it in a bucket of water. I repeat that until the water is less and less dirty. Then I let the filter dry for a couple of days

Meh, the AEM was a better value anyhow I'm sure.

I actually found a k&n synthetic dry air flow filter spray bottle. Might give that a try. I was wondering if anyone has tried simple green before? Like spray it with it until its soaked and rinse it out.

I don't see where soaking it in hot water with Dawn or de-greaser could hurt it.

Hate to thread jack, but where are you guys getting your AEM or Injen filters? I could use an upgrade on mine.

eBay of course. tongue.gif Can get the AEM filters for around $30 each, K&N is around $50 each. If you look hard enough people will be selling them for huge discounts every now and then.
