Just a random check in from me. Still have my Celi, and she's now safely tucked in a garage again after a recent relocation to Fort Wayne, IN. Still being driven quite a bit but not sitting outside all the time anymore. That 2 years spent outside took a toll on it's paint unfortunately, but once the weather breaks and it warms up some I'm going to go over it with a polisher and clean it up good.........

Gratuitous shot to prove she's still around. biggrin.gif

Still looks as good as ever. thumbsup.gif You should submit it for the Celica of the Month.

This. I'm at the wrong end of the state though. frown.gif Now that you're in Fort Wayne, you should check out our Midwest Meets. They're at Starved Rock State Park, roughly an hour Southwest of Chicago. They're a lot of fun and its always great to meet new people. thumbsup.gif

Heh, there's a lot more deserving cars for Celica of the Month than mine, but thanks.

And I'll definitely try to make some midwest meets. It's been a LONG time since I've gotten together with anyone at a Celica type of meet.

I disagree, your car is very deserving of Celica of the Month. smile.gif Still have the Trans Am?

I was wondering what happened to you. Glad you're still around. Would love to see you at the midwest meet too.

Yep, still have it. Working wastegate bugs out.......I'm overpowering the spring even with the boost controller though I'm right at 200% spring pressure. It spikes to 17 PSI boost then quickly falls to about 14.5 PSI. Gotta find a bigger spring so I can get the 20-25lbs I'm wanting. Ran it last fall, best pass was 11.58@134 on a 2.0 short time, and blew a cold side coupler off 1 second before the traps according to my datalog, which cost me some time and certainly some MPH because the car fell on it's face. With a launch in the 1.6 range and a full pass I should be DEEEEEEEEP into the 10's and upper 9's with the boost issue fixed.

Thanks man. I just don't have time to spend on here or the cars like I used to. Wish I did.
