THANKS DOGGY! Wooo! Folding mirrors. I'm real excited. I can't wait to figure out the wiring on these bad boys to slap em on the Celi! They came a bit damaged, but that's understandable, considering how many hands this package had to go through to get here. Hehe. Nothing a little crazy glue can't fix. Lol. I found a few topics on how to wire these but they're kinda confusing. When I get started on them, you guys should see me posting a little more often . Do you guys think I can swap over the triangle pieces from my stock mirrors to these? Thanks.

Folding mirrors are cool but a guy on the GT4OC is making a mod so they are linked to an alarm fob so whenever you set the alarm the mirrors fold in and vice versa

If they fold then they are JDM, others only had heated mirrors or UK ones only had heated anyway.

But by hand or by the push of a button. Al Mirrors from everywhere on the world are identical except for the fact that JDM mirror can fold with a button. Then you are a very lucky girl. Maybe the previous owner has installed them. Or it was an option.

I want a button that shoots the mirrors right off the car, so I won't have the "drag" when I am trying to out run the police. It will work with the suspension that will lower the faster I go.
I call it the "Drop and Pop" manuever, patent pending. This post has been edited by RallyeMonkey: Mar 24, 2006 - 1:29 PM |

^^those are not the same as the "folding" kind...those bottons adjust the position of the mirror itself..not the whole unit. The JDM ones have a botton so you have push it, and the whole thing folds in...we can do that here in the US, but by hand only.
~snap edit: look at the controls of the JDM ones...it has 3 bottons...yours has 2. If you look at the JDM ones, the top right there is a botton with a pic of a mirror with arrows...that is the botton/ability your lacking This post has been edited by snapshotgt: Mar 24, 2006 - 2:19 PM -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ

Jen, what you have (and what most here have) are just power mirrors as in you can adjsut the angle of the mirrors with the control you showed. They can fold in if you push it with your hand.
The JDM ones will fold, or retract, with a push of the extra button shown in Joe's post. -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |
