how much for a 5sfe, not sure if this topic goes here or not.. Options

Hey guys, i have a 1994 5sfe that i'm not using and somebody is interested in it. how much does the 5sfe go for without ecu and tranny? the motor has 190,000 on the odometer.

I bought a last revision one for $900. I've seen way older ones go for as low as $250 (locally)

I'd say that if it's running, just the engine $300-400 is a good price.

hey thanks, the car is taking up space at my parents house and i need to get rid as much of it as i can as soon as possible. i'll be keeping the tranny and a few othe body part like the hatch and what not.

I'd keep the front to back crossmember, front and rear mounts, tranny and tranny mount and 5s side mount as well. You could use them to swap your 7a whenever you feel like it.

yep thats the long term plan. just in case i decide to actually swap in a 3rd gen 3sgte.

That'd be nice. You'll probably be better off getting it from ebay than from local engine sellers, just a heads up. Where I bought my 5s, it was 2250 for a 3rd gen + tax.

yeah about that, i was just thinking of getting a front clip and be done with it, i mean i know what your talking about, the 3rd around here is really expensive
