both rims are excellent choices. double five spoke (old ones) look perfect and i have mentioned that before but just about every co. now makes them and seem to be very much out there. Your current choice is very nice. i like the simplicity of them but also they seem to yell out "Hands Off, I own these streets"

thats what I though too untill APC had to come out with a replica version of em... also they looked awesome on with the invader kit but with the new kit im not sure if there gonna look right or not... I want the lower half of the car to be really boxy which I have gotten with the new kit and the top half to show off the curves of the celica - a look that I believe I am accomplishing very well so far but rims are what makes or breaks a car and I don't wanna cut myself short at all tongue.gif

but untill I sell my old rims I can't justify spending $339 a rim or even the sale price of $230ish per rim frown.gif

so someone BUY MY RIMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol not to pressure you guys or nething wink.gif

its hard to give you a good judgement on rims without seeing a final paint job. the paint on the supra and the kit doesn't match very well in that pic tongue.gif

There the avant garte 1's I believe.. but the advan model 5's sound famialar to me also but not sure if its just a rim I have looked at before or if its what I got.. I will look tonight to figure out exactly what they are

actually I just looked em up and ya that is them... here is a link to em

wheels

I am also including the lugs and I have the flat valvestems with them... will try and find a link or pic of what im talking about but basically you dont have a nasty looking valve stem sticking outta the rim.. there really cool and look nice on the rims... BTW I wish I had only paid what they what from the site listed above frown.gif

$700 for neone interested... that is almost $300 cheaper than the site above for the exact same thing plus the valve stems I listed above smile.gif

Here is a link to the valvestems I was talkin about.. its cool its a gif image that shows all the different looks of the valve stem.. like how you get air into it and what it looks like with and with out the cap

valvestem

I have flush fitting valve stems.
Look pretty cool.
Just a few things to say...
Make sure they are correctly fitted (tightened up properly), otherwise the inner nut(s) comes loose and makes a clinking sound inside your rim;
Don't screw on the cap too tight (bas*ard to get off otherwise);
Don't leave home without the valve extension. (been there, done that!)

Hopefully will also get some of the rear done.. would like to get the back done either tomorrow or Monday, but will prolly take a few weeks frown.gif

Neverstop, your rear end looks soooo wicked. Its going to be mind blowing. I think with all the mods you should do a unique tailight conversion. No supras, jdm,skyline.etc something different. Maybe ferraris 355s.
hats down to you, its guys like you that keep me going.

Nice dude. I like the bottom one, just make sure you get all the angles right so it looks good! Do some sort of nice custom shroud like the loteck.

Btw, is that pod from a resin mould?

I would make it look alot like the triple pillar if I do either of em.. I kind like the lowerone the more I look at it on here.. and they would be angled to face the driver.

to make the pod I just glassed in the back side of my old guage pod and then popped itout.. worked pretty good but its a little smaller than normal but will still fit a 52mm pod fine

I like the first idea, that is, in the lower dash with the pods/gauges angled towards the driver. (Prefer to keep the upper dash clear).
I guess I'll go this way if I can't figure out an idea to put them in the center console.

OMG! that's one hell of a new toy. Absolutely love it!

I like it too and it was my 1st thought about the extra guages but I'm just afraid of some stupid passanger messin them up - the more I look at the pics the more I like the lower one over the one over the airbag.

BTW I loaded pics of that overflow tank you had asked for in the leftover topic
