I bought these to machine my 5S crankshaft down to accept 3SGTE rods but no machine shop around is able to do it. If you have a machine shop around your area who'll do it perhaps you can use these. OEM rods have been proven past 400whp, and are much less expensive than Eagle, Pauter, Carillo, etc. rods; good enough for a street turbo setup which is what I had in mind, but I ended up purchasing rods that fit on the 5S crank instead due to the above reason.
My loss your gain. Looking to get back what I bought these for: $100 shipped anywhere in the US Pics: 6-pt nut on the huge bolts instead of the 5S 12-point on the dinky bolts: Another shot: 3S bottom, 5S top: 5S rods left, 3S rods right. Much bigger bolt: This post has been edited by Syaoran: May 3, 2013 - 11:54 PM -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold

Don't recall but would these work on 2nd gen 3s? Yes. I believe 1st 2nd and 3rd gen rods are compatible, whereas the 4th gen rods were revised and turned out to be weaker. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold
