Alright, last rally i broke my exhaust in 2 places. It's in 3 complete pieces and no longer even attached to the header.

Long story short, I want to get rid of the 3sge header, it has a big annoying flange in which I had to custom make my own flange to get my old exhaust to mate up. I'm looking for cheap**** ebay headers and downpipe if you even want to call it that.

Any reason something like this wouldnt work? I realize it wont bolt up perfectly to the rest of the exhaust, but all I want for it is to bolt up to my 3sge, and clear the subframe. I'll handle it from there.

If I was to buy a header for my car. I'd want a 4-2-1 header. No luck with a 5sfe though....

the 7a flange is totally diffrent from the "s" series engines.
i would imagine by the time you get it to where it would fit, you could prolly just custom build your own, or have one made.
the engine crossmember prolly isnt the same distance in the corolla as the celica, so i imagine the bpipe wouldnt fit either.
why not build a one off header / bpipe of your own?
if you cracked and broke the stock header, those cheapo chinese parts dont stand a chance of lasting at all! lol

Old thread, didn't see your response. The stock header isn't broke, but the 3sge header flange is strange. I made my own already, it's a pain in the ass and I have so many projects right now I just want to buy something and put it in.

Like to just use something close to stock so every time i break it I don't have to rebuild can just buy something cheap. No need for stainless as the exhaust is almost like a wear item in a rally car.

So I was thinking of buying cheap 5sfe header, but there's like no aftermarket down/flex pipe that I can find its all stock. Looking for at least a 2 inch, the stocker where the bend is like 1.5" its tiny.
