I was just reading over njccmd2002's how-to thread on changing it out and it looks like a bear. Right now I can assist it as I roll it up and it rolls up fine. Will it stay on track during normal driving and hitting bumps?(the potholes here are insane!) I think i'll just leave it up for now and focus on some other things. But I don't want someone to be able to push it down in a parking lot or have it fall down when I'm driving. I can deal with it if it will stay up. What have you guys experienced that have had this happen to the convertibles?

the bushings break. you cant replace them, you need to buy and replace the whole thing...
 unless someone starts selling the plastic bushings individually, we are screwed. It will stay if you dont open it, or open the top. I drove with it like that for a while, but eventually you will want to lower that top.. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... i believe that bushing is to hold the window in place but if your bushings broke to have it slide its from the quarter sub assy the part for that is 69081 or 69082 depending what side but yea it sucks that you have to replace the whole thing if one little bushing cracks
