And the Quick Release is in! I'm still debating on going back to OEM with the stock 3 spoke or just swap my woodgrain out for a NARDI black 3 spoke.

Why? Cars for ages didn't have airbags, or restraining belts for that matter. It wasn't until just a few years before this generation that cars received air bags. There's no guarantee at this point the airbag would work anyway, you're supposed to replace them after ten or fifteen years. Yes it's better to have them, but it's not like there aren't plenty of cars that're still out there that came from the factory without them. Should I digress, wooden wheels are for 70's and earlier cars. tongue.gif

Yea. Can't complain though since I got this whole set used for $290shipped. That's hub, quick release, lock, and steering wheel. Everything in "like new" condition. Lol. I originally had a pinkish ret lock but i traded that with my bro. Also going to be changing my steering wheel sometime soon. Im not a big fan of woodgrain.

I'd still rather have one than not, at least in a daily driver. If it's just a weekend/ funday car I could understand, but I would never remove my airbag in my dd.

Well, if you never wreck you'll never need it anyway. tongue.gif I wouldn't remove mine, but I'm not afraid of driving a car that doesn't have one either. In some instances the airbag causes injuries that'd otherwise not had happened, it just depends on the scenario.

Still better if the airbag explosive burns your hands, than if your head becomes one with your steering wheel smile.gif

I like the classic sporty look. Lol.

On a side note. I've been craving power and have been looking up 5sfte and 5sfe builds. I think I might do a mild build for my 5sfe. 294 webcam and i/h/e. Then tuned. Hopefully I'd put out 130-140whp....

While you're at it you should shave the head to raise compression and advance the timing. Maybe then you'll hopefully be into stock GS-R territory. redface.gif

Wait, you'll actually have some torque though. Hmm... Yes, more power!!!

I don't think you can advance the timing on an OBDII car and I'm not doing anything else for now since I'm going to see if this will still pass emissions with the 294 grind cams.

Damn you OBDII. Raising the compression makes it more efficient though. wink.gif

Yeap. I want to get the head and intake manifold ported. Should still pass emissions with it. Not too sure.

All that does is smooth out airflow, which would mean a more complete burn. So if anything it'll help. Same with reducing the combustion chamber area, more efficient. The only thing is with timing advance, which should be possible with some kind of computer controller. Still, shaving and porting along with the cams should give a nice increase.
