yes it says it. I have an st with an auto tranny and its very odd.. when i hop into my car and drive off, it wont kick into 4th for a while...Ill be drivin in 3rd with high rpms for at least 2-4 minutes before it kicks into 4th.another symptom is the colder it is, the longer it takes to upshift.but it still does it sometimes even if its warm outside!.. now before you think its just cuz i didnt let my car warm up, your wrong. i could come home, and after say an hour or two, go back out and it will do it again...i dont understand becuase when i do let it warm up, it will be fine... but i cant sit there and let my car warm up for 8 minutes everytime after its been sitting an hour or two... please help!!

look at your coolant temp guage. when it gets to about a quarter of the way up, it will shift to OD. If it is below that... no matter how long you drove it before you let it sit, it wont shift... because it has to warm up the the 4th mark yet again.

In my corvette it wouldn't get over 3k RPM's till it was at 200 degrees.... talk about freaking out the first time it happened..

you don't have transmission fluid... you have gear oil
and you check it by jacking up the car, pulling the plug out of the transmission, and looking in the hole... if the fluid comes up to the bottom of the hole you have enough... no dipstick
