Hi, another low cost mod.....
When i bought the car it came with a front grille but the previous owner fitted it for some reason with a "blanking plate" so i decided to fit a black mesh instead together with the same black mesh for the lower (bumper) part, the bumper was an easy fit but the upper grille was a p*** ....the alternative way would heve been removing the bumper( might do that at some point). Also tinted my rear lights and front indicators (not extremely, for security reasons) |

Home Depo? gutter leaf guard or something like that?4 I personally prefer the honey comb plastic mesh, thats the one im going to use, you can get it on ebay for I think less than 40$ and it makes the car look more modern and OEM This post has been edited by TheCreatorOf: May 1, 2013 - 9:56 AM -------------------- white 1997 Celica GT***FOR SALE

Thanks TheCreatorOf! What do you use to keep the grille in place? & is this what you're talking about? http://www.ebay.com/itm/PLASTIC-ABS-UNIVER...5ec&vxp=mtr Im going to design my own front bumper, eventually the whole front end and then the rear, baby steps lol, but im going to make some small holes around where the stainless steel/plastic/nylon bolts are going to sit, put a washer on the bolts, pull fiberglass strands from the inner side to the outer through the holes using a hook shaped paperclip and fiberglass both sides of the bumper, sand, fill, sand, filler primer, sand then paint the outer side of the bumper, and have bolts where I can use some of the holes on the mesh to fasten with a washer and nut on the back side of the bumper and then trim the mesh with a hacksaw blade or rotary tool. sorry for taking so long to reply, my account might say that im online 24/7, but I never turn off my computer and I always leave like 20 tabs open for all the websites I might use lol...obviously I dont have to pay electricity bills... and my computer is pretty darn reliable made it myself what can I say... lol -------------------- white 1997 Celica GT***FOR SALE
