well guys its been awhile, but i got my 87 gt-s back. shes pretty beat up and there was a dead cat in the passenger floorboards. so.. my plan is to strip her and roach it out. im thinkin street legal track car. i know its not a 6th gen, but i figured id bring you guys some questions, sense i know how much you guys love the 3s-ge. as i do.
so number 1 question. the tweekers that stole my car took my entire custom intake, including my maf sensor. so does anyone know if there is a difference between the 3sge and 3sfe maf sensors. cuz all i can find online and on ebay are the 3sfe maf. they look the same, but i read on some bs forum that the fe wont work for my ge. but i thought i ask the real know it alls here for the real word.. thanks guys, really exited to get my baby running like a champ again. ps. haven't forgot about my 1mz project, just collecting parts n getting my ducks in a row before i dive into suck a big endeavor. and if i get my gts running i can start asap. thanks Kurt you're probably right. but its Definitely a project now. not that she wasn't before. just got done stripping the entire interior out yesterday including carpets and dynamat. ive got a lot to rebuild. Figured I'd bring you guys along, n ask some 3sge related questions. An take acouple pics of the old girl while I restore her.
Also, I just pulled my kyb shocks and eiboch springs out of the gt-s, to slap it under my 95 gt. kind of excited about that. can't wait to see what this thing feels like with some actual suspension underneath it. |
