Hood latch won't lock the hood even when dropped from a height. I use a flathead screwdriver to move the cable a bit and get it to lock, but I don't know what's actually going on. Are they easy to replace? Is there a quick fix? Thanks

Try some pb blaster on the latch and make sure the spring moves i had the same problem and that was my fix and they r not hard to replace if u had to just 2 bolts and a cable if i remember correctly also make sure the latch isnt bent u may have to bend it a little to get it to catch

what I did was undo the latch from the body and just pull it out so the cable tightens and it works again.
