Hey guys, so my clutch isn't disengaging and letting me shift. Sometimes it'll disengage and let me shift but then it'll cut out. For instance, I'll have the clutch pressed in, then when i go to rev, it actually accelerates, sometimes the car wont start cuz it doesnt think the clutch is in. Anyone know what the issue might be? I've bled the system and replaced the fluid. The slave has compression. I dont want to have to replace the clutch if that's not the issue. When it's in gear, it's smooth and fine, or to say when it works it works. Any info would help, thanks guys

I'd say bad master or slave cylinder, and you said the slave is good. Does it go smoothly through the gears she the car is parked and not running?

Yeah it goes through all the gears smoothly, the slave has little over half an inch throw so it seems to be fine. I was told it could be a broken spring in the clutch itself |

When my clutch went out, a spring escaped. But the fact that your car doesn't recognize that the clutch pedal is depressed (for starting) makes it sound like something other than the clutch disk.
Hopefully this didn't happen: https://plus.google.com/photos/112486018851...487661670094129 -------------------- |

Sounds like that probably happened lol.. Happened to my friends teg. Just take the tranny off and take a look. Replace clutch anyway lol. Plus check the clutch sensor. It should be down with the pedal
