 ST205 rear spindle the same as USDM gt rear spindle? |

I was browsing ebay and was looking at a rear st205 diff/suspension for sale. I need a rear diff for my st185 alltrac and this would be a good upgrade. My question is this: is the rear spindle the same as the gt spindle? I have a st with rear drum and would like to upgrade to rear discs, and if I can kill two birds with one stone (minus wheel bearing/hub/calipers obviously) its a win win. I tried the search function but I havent found much information that relates to this question I have. Anyone know the answer to this question?
