If i buy a front clip, that comes with a manual awd transmission/ 3sgte / ecu / and all the other little additions, will the ecu still work with my transmission out of my 94 gt without any problems, or does the ecu have an effect on the tranny as well?

The computer only controls the engine, there is not computer for the transmission since it's a manual. Plenty of people have used the S54 transmission from their GT with success.

Thanks Box. Is there a better transmission that will work with front wheel drive. I am doing the 3sgte swap on a 94 automatic, but am going to use the parts from my 95 manual which has a standard 5 speed. But I am looking for performance, so I will get a different tranny if it will work. Which is the best front wheel drive man tranny for the 3s that will fit the celi?

Some people use the E153 5-speed transmission that was used in the Camry/Solara.
