I bought an GT-Four spoiler and SSS-III raiser blocks cheap from local parts site and today we tried to bolt it on my JDM GT-Four. Raiser blocks come about 1,5cm's over the edges of tailgate from both sides and didn't fit well. Is there different raiser blocks for JDM and EU versions because of different shaped tailgates?

Actually, there is a difference between Euro and JDM spoilers and riser blocks. There's no difference in the hatch, but some Euro models got spoilers with smaller bases, like so:
Picture comes compliments of Urputus. After that, there's the difference between the taller, more angled blocks like the GT4/SS-III and the shorter, more flat Euro blocks: ^^ Those blocks fit the regular wing with the larger bases. The only reason I can think of that your wing and blocks would be too wide is that the wing itself may have come from a coupe or convertible, not a liftback. If I recall correctly, the coupe/vert wings are a little wider than the liftback. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. Thanks for the details! My spoiler has the wider base, without blocks it fits well, but with those SS-III blocks it goes over edges. Either I have to find those flat euro blocks or just fit the spoiler with those SS-III's. I think it's not so bad if it just lines up with hatch.

I think what you are getting at is the blocks sit past the SIDES of the trunk? They are supposed to.. -------------------- 6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak |

Ah, yeah, in matter of fact I noticed the same thing about an hour before I checked this topic while I was browsing an local car sales site. I have first week of my vacation next week, let's see if I can fit the spoiler.
Ps. By the way, your Celica looks goddamn awesome with that color. -------------------- Toyota Celica ST205 '96 Toyota Celica ST202 '94 EX |

Ah, okay.
By the way, what would be the best way to pluck the old spoiler's holes? -------------------- Toyota Celica ST205 '96 Toyota Celica ST202 '94 EX |
