I have always been told that the nice side skirts from the hatchback will not fit the convertible because of a different length. However, when I went to the junkyard yesterday I brought my measuring tape. The side skirts had been taken off of the hatchback there, but I measured it from wheel well to wheel well, and it was 70.5 inches. I measured mine when I got back home from wheel well to wheel well the best I could even though my little black side skirts were in the way. It measured out to be about 70.5. This is an approximate measurement since my side skirts were in the way of me doing an exact measurement, but it seemed almost the same. Can someone verify this for me? There were many times that I could have gotten side skirts and didn't because I was told they wouldn't fit frown.gif. If it is 1/4" or 1/2" off, I can modify it to fit since it is so close to being able to fit.

Njccmd has has two different sets of hatch skirts on his vert, and I know a couple other members have fitted stock skirts.

All skirts are the same length. In order to install onto a vert, the factory hatchback side skirts need to be modified on the back where it meets up with the body and clips into place. Basically, you just cut all the tabs off. I believe Njccmd did a write up for this procedure a few years ago.

awesome! Now I just have to find some skirts..what do you guys think of the 404s? They are TRD knock-off ones. 808joey has some locally but I'm not sure what they look like.

The 404s are nice, I had them on my car for quite some time. You can check out some of my profile pictures for an idea of what they would look like on your car. The 404s sit pretty low, just like the TRDs, so it would definitely be a good idea to match it with a front and rear lip as well.

nice..but me getting a lip in Hawaii would be ridiculous on shipping. It's way too large to ship for cheap.
