I've been looking for a downpipe for a 3rd gen 3sgte and it seems Aussie made the best quality DP out there but I've heard they're now discontinued?
Any idea where I can get one?

At first I wanted a Berk but after looking at the welds I gave up on this idea.

I want a 3'' so no KO racing either kindasad.gif

Any help is welcomed smile.gif

Berk is the best one you can buy. There is nothing wrong with their welds and the welds are not even the weak spot. The flex section they provide relieves stress caused by the rest of the exhaust and makes for a reliable downpipe.

If you're really stuck on the "Aussie" downpipe, just get one of those cheap e-bay 3inch downpipes. They are basically direct copies from the Aussie. I've had pretty good luck with these. My first one lasted a good 6 years before it started to crack. Now I'm on my second one and have no issues with it. I think I paid something like $60 shipped for it. Just make sure you also get a support bracket for it.

I've seen pictures and some welds really do look bad. Can't tell if they are all like the ones I've seen though.
I really like the flex part though, looks oem and useful/reliable.

Thanks man, I'll look into it.

Welding doesn't have to be pretty to be strong. As long as the welder was able to penetrate the metal and not leave any gaps, its structurally solid.
