i need some input on this. i have an alarm installed already on my car. when i purchased the car the previous owner had eliminated the clutch pedal switch and put it on a switch. i forgot about the switch being mounted in the den under the stereo and when i pulled the stereo out i yanked the switch off. i reconnected the wires and it worked for a little bit. now im having problems of when i try to start the car i get nothing but a clicking sound of a relay of some sort.
the clicking is coming from this module. what is this? thanks in advance guys! |

That's your engine ECU. The OEM RS3000 alarm is a small black box underneath the driver seat.

Mounted next to the ecu is the circuit opening relay, this will be what is clicking. The reason will be low power and when you try to crank the enginecover the relay chatters due to not enough power to keep the relay energised due to the draw to the starter motor.
