Hey guys so i'm new to the site and wanted to check in and say hello ,so i've been living in Northern japan for a week now and needed a car so i found my self a new DD

It's a 1997 Celica GT-FOUR 70k miles on it, its not perfect its got a few dings and a spot on the door and the front/rear spliters are missing along with the factory fog lights but at least the dealer ship agreed to get it repainted and do the timing belt before i take delivery next week. It's all stock with the exception of the factory boost by gear being disabled and a 3 inch exhaust. My plans are pretty basic for the car since it's going to be a daily driver for a while but i'm gonna keep the engine work to a minimum (hks ssqv, ebc and a 3" downpipe) and i'm gonna install the wrc spoiler and missing front and rear spliters

Looks like a great car!

Just a note, I don't think '97 GT Fours came with front and rear spats. SS-III's did though.

Yeah, the car is complete as it is. TRD spats front and rear were an optional extra and SSIII ones are available but were never offered on the st205's. In Australia our 77 WRC's came with the subtle euro front splitters as standard.

Looks nice btw, enjoy it smile.gif

Just to update i got the new wheels on today, there nothing special but i think they make the car look a little better

Also i paid 5,800 US and it came with 2-year JCI, 6 month's of insurance ,a paint job and they paid the road tax. So all and all i'm happy with the price and the car runs beautifully.
